About Us

Deacon Joe is a permanent deacon in the diocese of Pittsburgh. He serves his ministry of charity at a county jail and works by day in federal law enforcement. Joanne is a homemaker and former communications coordinator. We've been married for 25 years and are the parents of six children ages 24-3, and one grandchild (and another on the way!). Our life is intricately bound by our beliefs as Catholics. How we live our lives, how we interact with others, and what is important to us is reflected in our beliefs that we are created in the image of God and that everything that we do should give glory to God. This blog reflects our desire to balance living in a secular culture but striving to do God's will. Ad majorem Dei gloriam!
